Data Presales & Delivery Consultant

We are seeking a Data Presales & Delivery Consultant to join a large, industry-leading Cloud & Managed Service Provider, specialising in Cloud, Digital Transformation and Information & Communications Technology, based in Dubai. 

JOB PURPOSE
Leverage in-depth industry expertise and data analysis to advise clients on their business challenges and identify possible data solutions to outstanding pain points.
 
RESPONSIBILITIES

• Contribute to the definition of Data BU business plan.
• Execute a GTM strategy aligned to the overall organization direction.
• Provide expert advice (customer intimacy), translate market challenges into requirements and collaborate on the development of data products portfolio.
• Engage with clients to understand business objectives and challenges; perform data analysis to uncover inefficiencies and opportunities (data intelligence) and translate requirements into possible data solutions.
• Leverage in-depth industry expertise and advise clients on their data strategy including data ingestion, storage, processing and provisioning to AI, Data Science, BI and reporting.
• Provide pre-sales support (i.e., sales enablement, client facing activities, proposals development, bid management).
• Demonstrate strong knowledge and interest of, and great comfort communicating the concepts and value of data-related value propositions to clients and internal stakeholders.
• Design and conduct proof of concepts with clients as well as carry out financial analysis (business cases) of data use cases, as applicable.
• Present findings, conclusions, and recommendations to clients, peers, and stakeholders.  
• Participate in the delivery of data related engagements by formulating scope of work, business requirements documents, functional specifications, test scripts, and assisting quality assurance process.

 
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

• 7+ years of experience in business analytics, data analysis or similar role with some presales exposure.
• Experience of working on AI & overall Data Analytics projects (i.e., Data Strategy, Data Governance, Data Management, Data Science, Data Modelling, and Data Visualization related projects).
• Ability to translate client requirements into effective solutions to outstanding complex business problems.
• Ability to break the challenge into smaller problems and think of relevant methodologies which can be explored & used to cater to those.
• Demonstrate strong business development and presentation skills, effective communication, and experience of working with cross functional and technical teams.
• Strong knowledge in one data domain, at least (i.e., Data Strategy, Data Governance, Data Management, Data Science, Data Modelling, Data Visualization).
• Ability to work with cross-functional and multidisciplinary teams.
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science / Electrical Engineering/Mathematics or related fields
• Arabic language is a plus.
