Country Manager
Sales & Account Management
We are seeing a Country Sales Manager to join a UK based Tech startup who have recently broken into the Middle East Region and are looking to grow their existing presence across the region. Their product is a data-driven, gamification consumer engagement solution.
As Country Sales Manager, you will play a pivotal role in driving revenue growth by managing key customer accounts and pro-actively winning new customers, developing revenue opportunities and long-term relationships. You will serve as the primary point of contact for customers, understanding their business objectives and aligning products and services to meet their needs. Your focus will be on driving sales through strategic account management and new business development, and delivering exceptional customer experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Build and maintain strong, trusting relationships with key customers. Understand their business goals, challenges, and pain points to offer tailored solutions that add value and drive mutual success.
- Develop and execute strategic account plans to achieve sales targets and expand the customer base. Identify new business opportunities within existing accounts and collaborate with the marketing team to drive revenue growth.
- Collaborate with the pre-sales and technical teams to develop compelling proposals that address customer needs and differentiate our offerings in the market. Ensure proposals are aligned with customer expectations and delivered within deadlines.
- Lead negotiations with customer to secure contracts and close deals. Utilise persuasive communication and negotiation skills to overcome objections and address concerns, ultimately driving successful deal closures.
- Provide accurate sales forecasts and regular progress reports to the management team. Analyse sales data and market trends to identify opportunities for growth and areas for improvement.
- Cultivate strong partnerships with key account managers at Microsoft. Collaborate closely with Microsoft's teams to leverage joint selling opportunities, align go-to-market strategies, and drive co-selling initiatives that benefit both organisations and our mutual customers and prospects.
Required Skills and Experience:
- Proven track record of selling Data-driven Software Solutions to Enterprise clients, possessing an existing network of C-level contacts in industries including Retail, Media, Leisure, Sports, Travel, Hospitality.
- Strong understanding of sales techniques, including needs analysis, solution selling, and objection handling.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and credibility with customers at all levels of the organisation.
- Results-driven mindset with a focus on delivering exceptional customer experiences and driving business outcomes.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team, with strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Familiarity with CRM software and sales analytics tools is preferred.
- Fluent Arabic speaking is essential.
