We are seeking to hire a Chief Data & Digital Officer with a successful track record of leading Data & Digital Business units to join a leading, multi-national Cloud IT Systems integrator, based in their Dubai office.
The Chief Digital Officer (CDDO) will drive the creation and implementation of Data, Digital and AI strategies and solutions for external clients – leveraging cutting-edge technologies to deliver innovative products and services that support clients' digital transformation goals. The CDDO will lead the commercialisation of the portfolio across Digital, Data, AI, and Drone-powered solutions, while also managing a team of Sales Solutions Professionals and Digital Transformation Advisors. This role requires a combination of strategic vision and deep expertise in Digital, Data, and AI, coupled with a strong commercial focus and understanding of client business needs to drive revenue growth and competitive advantage.
Responsibilities:
· Develop and execute innovative and cohesive strategies that integrate Digital, Data, and AI initiatives and offerings to address specific industry and client needs
· Create and drive solution roadmaps for external clients, tailoring services such as digital platforms, data analytics, AI use cases, and advisory to meet their business goals
· Partner with sales and business development teams to identify opportunities and create proposals that align with clients’ evolving needs
· Build and manage a comprehensive portfolio of digital, data, and AI solutions to take to market, ensuring they meet client needs and drive competitive advantage
· Drive experimentation with modern technologies – supporting digital initiatives and promoting a mindset of continuous improvement
· Identify and pursue monetisation opportunities, including new service lines and subscription/licensing models
· Lead product and service development to embed analytics, predictive insights, and AI capabilities into client-facing systems and digital solutions
· Drive the adoption of advanced analytics and AI among clients, ensuring offerings are tailored to industry-specific needs
· Work with client teams to identify and build KPIs, dashboards, and reporting tools that align with their strategic objectives
· Develop client-centric governance frameworks, supporting compliance with regulations such as GDPR, CCPA, and industry standards
· Collaborate with marketing and sales teams to articulate the value of data, digital and AI solutions, and to position the company as a thought leader in digital transformation
· Deliver insights into market trends, client demands, and competitor activities to guide the evolution of the portfolio
· Support the sales team with presentations, case studies, and ROI frameworks that showcase the tangible benefits of data, digital and AI solutions and services for clients
· Lead a cross-disciplinary team of digital, data, and AI experts (including product managers, scientists, analysts, advisors, and engineers) to deliver high-impact, client-focused solutions
· Engage with clients as a trusted advisor on Data, Digital and AI, building long-term relationships and helping them drive the digital and data transformation in their businesses
Required Experience & Qualifications:
· 15+ years of experience in data management, analytics, or a related field, with at least 5 years in a leadership role
· Deep knowledge of digital technologies, data analytics, AI, and their application in solving business challenges
· Excellent communication, leadership, and project management skills
· Strategic thinking and consultative skills; ability to influence senior clients and internal stakeholders
· Proven ability to drive data and digital initiatives that deliver business value and improve decision-making
· Ability to develop and execute long-term strategies that drive business growth
· Strong understanding of market dynamics and the ability to commercialise products effectively
· Track record of driving innovation, encouraging experimentation with emerging technologies, and bringing new products or services to market
· Strong business development skills with experience in product commercialisation, revenue generation, and identifying market opportunities.
· Proven experience in leading diverse teams and fostering a collaborative work environment
· Demonstrated ability to understand client needs and translate them into successful digital solutions
· Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, Information Systems, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
· Certifications in data management, analytics, AI, or governance are beneficial (e.g., CDMP, CDO certification).
